Glimpse of Spring

Spring in Eastern Oregon can be frustrating. One day it will be 60 degrees and the next it snows and is cold. I have started my flowers inside this year, maybe I won't have to buy as many as I usually do, we'll see. I do have a few sprouts so far. The cold weather doesn't seem to be bothering the usual spring flowers. The tulips and daffodils are still getting ready to bloom . These purple flowers grew up out of the snow. They were there long before I even realized it.

My mom usually tries to make to visit around the boys birthdays but that didn't work out this year so she came the first part of April instead. The boys had a blast playing with her i-pad. They wanted to play with it the whole time she was here. Now they want to play with Mike's i-pod but it is kind of a let down since it is so much smaller.

We went to the Bingham's again this year for the Easter egg hunt on horseback. We didn't make it last year due to a snow storm. It was still cold and very windy but the boys still had a lot of fun.

Stay tuned Mike and I are coaching T-ball this year. Opening day is coming up this weekend. We started practice this last week. The first practice was a bit crazy but I think I know what to expect now.
