Success

We don't have a lot of room for a garden so last year I made some room in my flower beds for a few vegetables. Nothing that I planted came up. I don't know what I did wrong but it didn't work. Even the tomatoes and peppers that I bought didn't really produce much.

This year I decided I would start early and plant inside. We are going to put a raised garden in the backyard so I will do more this year.





I don't know what has happened but it seems everything in the flower garden has bloomed a lot more and bigger then last year. When we bought this house there was a large garden in front with tons of strawberries. We wanted to use that area for yard instead so we moved some of the plants up by the house and planted grass. Ever since then we haven't been very successful with them. Every year we have had to replace some. This year we have twice as many as last year and they are all doing good. Hopefully the good luck continues and we will acutally get something this year.



This is the future home of the raised garden. We will do the same thing in the other corner. We will be digging out under the swingset to put in sand so we can use that dirt in the gardens.
